Bread, Biscuit, or Hard Tac Wood Box – Professionally Hand Crafted. 24″ long x 17 1/2″ wide x 12″ tall. The bottom cleates add 3/4 of an inch to the height, and side handles add 1 1/2 inches to the width of the box. This is a hand made box, made out of pine using reproduction plans from original plans. This box is professionally constructed using glued and clamed joints and then naild together. All nail heads are filled with wood filler. We use exposed cut nails in the box to give the box a period nailed look. The boards for the lid and the bottom of the box are glued and clamped. There are hemp rope handles for easy carrying. The lid of the box is hand stenciled using a reproduction stencil of the original stencils of the time. This is a nice professionally crafted box. This is a must for the reenactor who wants to carry his or her equipment in a nice period looking bread box.
