tall as per the original flags staffs. This is the period correct flag staff length. 1-1/4 inches in diameter. Made of Poplar and is stained and varnished in the same color tone as per the original flag staffs. We also use flat head screws to attach the brass components as per the original flag staff as well. This is a hand made flag staff and is tapered at both ends as per the originals. This flag staff comes with Brass Army Spear,  Brass screw joint, and Brass bottom Ferrule. The Army spear unscrews so it can be removed from the Brass Army Spear base. The flag staff has a brass screw joint and unscrews in the middle of the pole for easy storage and transport from event to event. When your flag is put on the staff, the screw joint is hidden under the flag sleeve. This flag staff is hand made by us. This is a brand new item. A must for the reenactor! This one is nice.
